Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families The Early Childhood Center can provide services for up to one hundred and eighteen children and their families through a variety of program offerings. Red Cliff Early Childhood Center offers Early Head Start Home Based, Early Head Start Center Based and Head Start Center Based options which serves the reservation.

Red Cliff ECC's web servers are 100% wind powered. This helps in preventing the release of 2,660 metric tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere each year.
